Infinite Love

I believe in lots of things. Things that perhaps seem small, simple, or meaningless -- at least to some -- but are important to me.

I believe that anything is possible. I believe that we should practice the impossible until something more impossible takes its place. I believe that practicing anything with that type of attitude and commitment makes it possible to believe that anything is possible.

I believe that there are no mistakes in life. You reading this blog post is not a mistake, it is not by accident, nor is it a coincidence. Everything in life is on purpose.

I believe in love. I believe that love exists within all beings. Love for ourselves, love for others, love for the universe. I believe that the love we feel is infinite. I believe that once our soul has loved another soul, that love exists forever.

I believe in reincarnation. I believe that our soul or spirit, after biological death, can begin a new life in a new body. I believe that every soul lives on forever and that our souls embody not just humans, but all living creatures. I believe this experience is what makes humans and other living beings compassionate.

I believe in karma. I believe that because our soul lives on, our actions are not always rewarded or punished until our next lifetime, and that our behavior in our current lifetime determines what happens in our future lives. I believe that living compassionately is rewarded by living long, beautiful lives. I believe that we eventually are punished for our cruelty or lack of compassion, and I believe this explains why some beings live shorter or more complicated lives than others, as a punishment from a past life.

Recently, I got a new tattoo. and it represents all of the above. It's a simple symbol with a lot of meaning.
​
To me, it represents infinite love.

​I don't expect a person to look at my tattoo and understand the meaning behind it, which is why I am spending the time to explain exactly what it means to me.

No matter what you believe, I hope you spend your life spreading love all around. Spread an infinite amount of love.
