About Julia

The practice of yoga has changed my life in so many amazing ways, and overall, has helped me to deepen the connection and relationship I have with myself. In my body, yoga has helped me identify and heal several pain causing injuries. In my mind, yoga has helped me feel less stressed, more patient, more present, more confident, and more aware.
I began practicing Vinyasa Yoga in 2011 and completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2012. In 2015, I began a daily, dedicated practice of Ashtanga Yoga and completed a 40-hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training in 2016. Over the years, I have continued to expand my knowledge with over 150 additional hours of formal training with yoga experts, studying Yin Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Philosophy, Ashtanga Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga.
As a student, my teachers have guided me through my practice to help me feel strong, self-reflective, confident, and powerful. As a teacher, I strive to help my students feel this way, too. I am committed to providing students with an ideal environment for them to discover the beauty and power of their own practice and their own yoga. My personal practice of Ashtanga Yoga heavily influences my teaching style so you will find my classes to be traditional, with a strong focus on breath and alignment.
I hope that you will join me for a class soon! Check out my schedule here.
