About Julia

Julia Paddison (she/her) began practicing Vinyasa Yoga in 2011 and completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2012. In 2015, she began a daily practice of Ashtanga Yoga and completed a 40-hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training in 2016. With hundreds of additional hours of formal training with yoga experts, Julia has continued to expand her yoga knowledge, studying Yin Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Philosophy, and Ashtanga Yoga.
The practice of yoga has changed Julia's life in countless ways. In her body, yoga has helped her to identify and heal from several injuries. In her mind, yoga has helped her feel less stressed, more patient, more present, more confident, and more aware. Overall, the practice of yoga has deepened the relationship she has with herself and with others.
As a student, Julia's teachers have guided her through her practice to help her feel strong, self-reflective, and powerful. As a teacher, Julia strives to help her students feel this way, too. She is committed to providing students with an ideal environment for them to discover the beauty and power of their own practice and their own yoga. Her personal practice of Ashtanga Yoga heavily influences her teaching style so you will find her classes to be traditional, with a strong focus on breath and alignment.
